Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jun 03, 2009 6:53 pm Hi Michelle, this is soon to be our 14 month old daughters room - we currently have her in another room but have decided to swap as the new room is much bigger. You can see the painted feature wall, the colour of the rest of the room (lighter creamy colour) and a small peice of the venetians. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The paint is Taubmans and it is called 'Berry Plum', im not sure if you are familiar with it? Obviously its not an overly "little girl" colour, but we were hoping we could jazz it up with some pinks, hot pink, and maybe some other girly colours (i.e canvas pictures, wall hangings etc), but unsure of whether or not it will match. What do you think? .. Is there anything you can suggest or would we be better off just painting it a new colour?? .. we had a medium/dark purple in mind. BTW we are also happy to put curtains over the top of the venetian blind to match. Thanks in advance for your help Ben =) Re: Michelle can you please help with this colour? 2Jun 05, 2009 7:46 pm I didn’t even see this post Ben, they are coming fast and hard at the moment. You know I like the colour , it can work with some work. I would put some girly curtains up, in a white of some kind, see what you can find. Even if you just hang the white curtains, and not girly it will soften the room straight away. The red wall will go with, soft lime greens and soft pinks. Not sure what type of bed you have for your little girl, but something in a white will look really good. Best bet is to give it a go, if you don’t like it then repaint in the colour you are thinking of. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7158 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3267 2 10985 |
