Yes we have first hand knowledge of the paint samples from Bunnings. Twice now really bad matches. No, we dont want light, we are happy to go dark. Are considering Bedbox as mentioned or Ironstone, which is very dark, almost like the roof, but for me this would be very brave, as I am old fashioned and its black! But for me the big issue could be the windows, as they are Paperbark. I realise now why we didnt get the door stained, it comes in a paint range. Gosh wish I had known this before selection. And I am on my 6th house so I should know better! But I was sick when we had our appointment so can't be too hard on the selection consultant. So will consider any suggestion. we are selling and moving to the coast, if you know someone who wishes to buy in Mernda Villages, please visit this link http://www.realestate.com.au/property-h ... -107083288 Re: Need assistance urgently pls-render colour with Musket Haze 42Jun 02, 2009 8:58 pm Oh and just one other thing. As we have design guidelines in our estate, alot of the house look quite blended. So there are lots of browns, greys, peruvian clay types within our eye shot. Not that I want to blend in necessarily but I want it to look classy. we are selling and moving to the coast, if you know someone who wishes to buy in Mernda Villages, please visit this link http://www.realestate.com.au/property-h ... -107083288 Re: Need assistance urgently pls-render colour with Musket Haze 43Jun 05, 2009 7:01 pm Michelle Copy and past the pic into word and print the pic of the garage door off. Take it with you to the paint shop and see what they can find in a colour to match the door. A paint shop, not Bunning’s. So are you still wanting a lightish look for the render of your house, but a darker one than Linen? Hello!!!! The only concern I have is the windows. But I think a mushroom or darker version of might go well with paperbark. I don't want light really at all. We have even considered Ironstone, Bedbox or one of the richer greeny browns like Deep Stone. I will have pics of our driveway tomorrow so will post these so you can see the whole effect although the door isnt down at the moment. Not quite when you have ten tonnes of driveway just poured is there a spot where you could jump into the garage from the side of it and then just pull it down and then go out through your external garage door. Re: Need assistance urgently pls-render colour with Musket Haze 51Jun 06, 2009 5:56 pm No unfortunately, it is all baracaded up, and to be honest, would have trouble getting back out and could get door back up again as have no access to the back garage door as that too is locked. Went up today and they have poured the aggregate now, in a grey colour. Looks quite dark and light if that makes sense, hope it tones down a little when it dries, which I think it will. Ok folks, suggestions are now closed as we need to paint tomorrow. Thanks for eveyones assistance we have bought Dulux Jasper. I am trying to hunt out a way to put the colour in here to show you all or was that the colour Joles had suggested, let me go and see. we are selling and moving to the coast, if you know someone who wishes to buy in Mernda Villages, please visit this link http://www.realestate.com.au/property-h ... -107083288 Re: Need assistance urgently pls-render colour with Musket Haze 52Jun 06, 2009 6:36 pm I loaded this chart from another page and it shows Jasper but as usual the colour looks different IRL. We are going to throw some over the render tomorrow and hope that we have made the correct decision. Fingers, legs and everything else crossed. I'll look out for it when we drive past. Thanks for this Haven 25. Please don't look until it's done....lol.. But it does look nice in the cold light of day. Sort of has browns, grey and a slight peruvian clayness too. I should have listenned to my paint shop man in Essendon who I have used for years to do renovations on investment properties I have had in the past. He said go with a colourbond colour and he was so right. And to think I used to do this for a living!! I think this is half the problem when you know too much. At least we got the inside right, as ripping up tiles and carpet would have been far worse than a lick of paint. we are selling and moving to the coast, if you know someone who wishes to buy in Mernda Villages, please visit this link http://www.realestate.com.au/property-h ... -107083288 Re: Need assistance urgently pls-render colour with Musket Haze 55Jun 25, 2009 9:28 pm Hi All We have moved in and the first job for DH was to do the render and he has nearly finished god bless him Michelle I tried to load the picture but the message says the board attachment has been reached.
