I'm sorry I don't have time tonight to look up all of these colours, but it really helps to either print out or collect all your samples in one place and then make decisions by putting them next to each other. Alternatively you can put them next to each other in a program like Paint or Powerpoint. Sometimes things just look 'right' and you know that's what you want. Other times you need to spend hours going through everything and getting others' opinions. Below is how to upload photos. When you're making a post, click on the "Browse" button, which is below where you type your post (red circle in picture). This will open up your "My Pictures" folder or give you access to the images stored on your computer. Choose the one you want. Then click on "Add the File" (purple circle in picture) and it will add it to your post. Repeat this for all the photos you want to put in your post. You can click "preview" (to the left of the "Submit" button) to see if it worked before you click "Submit"! Hope this helps! But here goes. You externals sound good to me, but I'd do Snuggle Pie render, just because everyone seems to do colorbond colours for render, so do something different. Haywgl has Flokati on her walls so check out her building thread for pics. Your kitchen sounds good to me, and with my bathroom cabinets, we did the same for the cabinets and the benchtop (Smoky Sapelle) but a contrast can work as well. But seriously, get other opinions because I'm no expert. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. In regards to your colour selections - internal paints I think are fine - roof I would suggest Walnut as I think the warm tones go better with your bricks - gutters and fascia I would suggest doing contrasting colour so maybe paperbark for fascia and ?monument for gutters? - soffit is the ceiling of the eave - tends to be painted either off white or a lighter colour than your fascia - Don't know about jasper or snuggle pie except that you have chosen alot of brown... if you're going to do the render I think do jasper (snuggle pie would also look good) and maybe change the colour of your door - to the red of your splash back maybe? pick up the warm tones of your bricks, although it may depend on your facade - kitchen sounds great - bathrooms I think the pattern of the licorice ligna doesn't really lend itself to a benchtop (in my opinion - no offence intended) and I would go with other laminex colour. However it would also depend on the shape of the vanity Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level & then beat you with experience - Dilbert View Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=19733 Contract signed 14Sept Slab 30Sept Bricks laid 1Dec Lock up 26Feb Keys 10Jun Re: Colour Selection - Opinions / Advice Please 6May 26, 2009 9:03 pm cara&heng ly Hi Everyone, We have our colour selection appointment coming up & I would love to hear peoples opinions & advice.
