The white is on the left of the pic and the other one is the off white curtain. Going across the both of them is just some blockout material to show what it would look like closed. I am thinking the off white will looks better... I am looking for a brownish colour for both and I know that on the monitor it may look a little different.. The lamiex colours are the colours of kitchen, which is the parchment and the dark brown one is the colour of a shelf thing above the fridge. I would go with the off white though. Your tile and carpet certainly look brown to me in the pic, althogh the carpet has a bit of colour variation in it, which i think makes it look more interesting - nice choices I haven't even started to look at window furnishings yet and my build is nearly finished My karma ran over your dogma Re: White or cream curtains/carpet and tiles colour??? 3May 03, 2009 6:42 pm Thanks Bel, nice to hear from someone else in regards to colours etc... as I am not that great with them. I don't know .. not quite white . My mum once told me that off white curtains always look like they need a wash (thanks mum ). Our house is 1/4 strength hog bristle and our blockout and DD's sheers are white. IMO go with the white . It would be a nice contrast with the frames, but either would look good.
