Bar stools!!

Can anyone share ideas of their bar stools? Any pics, anything!!

What is a good place to shop for stools under island kitchen bench?? Harvey Norman? Or a furniture place??

second thoughts, maybe dont! they're pricey and dont have a huge range like I thought they did! back to the drawing board...

Matt Blatt have a lot of different designs so even if you don't want to spend this much (some are quite pricey, but plenty aren't) it gives you an idea of what to look for from a cheaper source

Funnily enough I just bought 4 bar stools off ebay for our next house. I already knew what I wanted, and low and behold someone in our suburb was selling exactly what I was looking for on ebay.

I have gone for the clear acrylic tops, stainless steel base. We have a long bench top in the kitchen with looks out to a lovely view. I didn't want the stools to stand out, thus the clear acrylic. They have a small back too, which is perfect as I prefer to have back support stools.



These stools were originally bought from Freedom in 2008.

On the topic of bar stools, we were looking at some at Ikea on the weekend and noticed that there are a few heights... if you are having a normal kitchen island 900mm high (normal bench height), should you get the stools that are 640mm high, or 700m, or 750mm????
