Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 May 11, 2009 10:33 am Hi all, I'm off to Laminex sometime this week to see my selections (Smoky Sapelle and Stipple Hemp) up close and personal in a big sample. I've been told they have big, big pieces of the Laminex so it should be helpful. Anyway, does anyone else need a pic of their selection in a big piece?? I can get some pics while I'm there and then I'll post the pics in this thread. I will probably be going some time later this week. So if you want a pic, leave the name of the Laminex that you want to see and I'll try my best. So far: Smoky Sapelle Stipple Hemp Alaskan Limestone Flint Pearl Frost I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. I retain useless information.. always have. That's why I could blitz exams. I'm the first person my friends call for a trivia night. Never been on a losing table yet! I am literally full of sh*t! Terrence Malick Re: Does anyone need Laminex pics??? 8May 19, 2009 3:02 pm Ok I went out to Laminex today. I've been slack because I've had the flu. I was a little disappointed actually. There was only the most popular ones on display.... well I can see those at a display house! I thought they'd have more in big pieces. I got a few 15cm x 15cm samples. But they are very strict with how many! Anyway, I got the Limestone for John and Tarin.... ICK they had no Alaskan in the bigger samples. And I got my Smoky Sapelle.... I think it's ok with my other choices. I will post some pics tomorrow. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. It's not really pink. More a soft cream/beige with little specks of whitey/cream and little (very little) specks of a deep pinky/coffee colour. But the over all look is definitely not pink. It actually has a lovely soft textured look from a distance. Do you want me to send the sample to you? PM your address if you like! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Does anyone need Laminex pics??? 11May 19, 2009 3:34 pm Jo you're so helpful!! Too bad there werent many samples there. I was really hoping to see the Alaskan sample also. And you are right, Carlisle Homes did use this laminex for their cupboards in the Atlantique display home at Alamanda!!
