Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Mar 30, 2009 10:08 pm We have just started our colour selection for new house...OMG...and need help/ideas. We thought we would start with kitchen first and go from there. We like black/grey/white but have dark chocolate furniture and a beige lounge, so also like the neutral look!! We would love to tie it all together but don't know how. We were hoping the timber laminate floors in kitchen/family/dining/games might help?? Here is what we have so far: Kitchen Benchtops: Onyx Cluster Squareform Laminex Cupboard Doors: Some form of white Floors: timber laminate like Heritage Walnut or Avignon Oak...don't know how to post pics Walls: something neutral??? Ensuite/ Bathrooms Floor tiles: Anthracite Wall tiles: Plain gloss white or Carara Grey Feature tiles: Contempo Grey Frieze or Carara Grey Frieze Vanity Top: dark grey/black Vanity cupboards: White We are limited to Crosby tiles, colours on their website look different in person of course! What to do with carpet and colours in bedrooms??? Any ideas/pics would help! Thanks in advance BUILT with Homebuyer's Centre - Aussie Alfresco Games viewtopic.php?f=31&t=16668 Moved In - Dec 14th Painting all but done - Jan 11 Front Landscaping - Feb 8 Moved In PICS Page 43 Re: Early stages of Colour Selection...help please!! 2Mar 31, 2009 4:40 pm Kirsada, it will take me a half an hour to look up all your colours…..and I’m very tired at the moment. But looking through your selections, they seem to be fine. Carpet for all the rooms, its probably a good rule of thumb to go a few shades darker than the neutral wall colour, its safer that way. Are you thinking of an off white for your walls, or something with a bit more depth to it? I was thinking to have something of more depth on the walls like Solver Smoke Pearl or even Solver Wallaby. We have seen this type of colour in display homes and really liked it. We just need to find a way to work in a black becnhtop. I think our problem is we can't decide on a theme and are trying to mix a few if you get what I mean Sorry for the cross-posting. I thought I would cross-post to get a few different opinions:) BUILT with Homebuyer's Centre - Aussie Alfresco Games viewtopic.php?f=31&t=16668 Moved In - Dec 14th Painting all but done - Jan 11 Front Landscaping - Feb 8 Moved In PICS Page 43 Re: Early stages of Colour Selection...help please!! 5Apr 05, 2009 3:49 pm Have picked our internal colours...a bit different to previous ideas but still with the Black Onyx kitchen benchtop!! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=14485 BUILT with Homebuyer's Centre - Aussie Alfresco Games viewtopic.php?f=31&t=16668 Moved In - Dec 14th Painting all but done - Jan 11 Front Landscaping - Feb 8 Moved In PICS Page 43 Hi there, we have classic cream gutters, fascia’s, roller door and undercover carport.
