Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Mar 18, 2009 11:00 pm We have decided on going with Chalk Beige for the walls and in order to save some money (~ $1.5k) we have gone with Flokati on the doors, skirting and architraves.
Will these two colours work in practice? I am happy with them looking at the paper chips but how different will it be on a wall? Re: Some quick colour advice needed 2Mar 19, 2009 12:21 pm Hi Zerosignal,
Flokati has a bit of a grey base to it... (this was my second choice for my walls but i ended up choosing tibetian snow). Flokati is a nice colour though. In the PD display homes, they use alot of chalk beige with chalkdust architraves/skritings. Looks really good. This could be an option. If you ring Wattyl, they will be able to send you out larger samples, around A5 size. Looking on a larger card gives you a better idea of the colour. Re: Some quick colour advice needed 3Mar 19, 2009 7:23 pm Yeah we were going to do chalk beige / chalk dust but the costs to get chalk dust was a little silly.
We ended up selecting Chalk Beige / Flokati at our colour selection. Looked good to me at the selection center just so hard to visualise it in reality. Thank you so much for the effort. We will use it to talk with builder. We also had idea of building duplex instead and seeking suggest ions. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=106744 11 13830 1.
