Painted the canvas first in a silver metallic paint, then glued rubber place mats on, and painted those in the metallic paint as well. Not bad I think…..$88 to achieve this. I wish I had such imagination, I like to do art and interior design things but usually steal other peoples ideas Its the same with painting and drawing, I can copy anything but cant draw anything out of my head. Know where your going in life............... you may already be there Re: Look what I made this morning! 7Mar 15, 2009 1:53 pm Looks wonderful Michelle! I am loving metallic paints right now . It really freshens the wall up too..Well done! Re: Look what I made this morning! 9Mar 15, 2009 3:31 pm Thanks ladies …..I have to say I saw something bigger and more decorative at Freedom when I was there last weekend.
Over $400 worth, I just looked at it thought…”NO WAY, I can do similar for much less” Which I did. Stoncutter, the placemats came from Domain, $20 each. Jilly…yes the place mats were that shape, I didn’t do anything to them except glue them on the canvas. They were shiny silver when I bought them. But I painted them over with the metallic so it all matched. I still love that feature wall colour in your room, very nice
Is that a monstera leaf in the frame? Did you paint it? I didn't even know what a monstera leaf was until today when watching some flower stuff on you tube. How bizarre Must be a day for making things, I did up a frame of old tickets/memorabilia from a few years ago and created some A3 photo posters online. Bought an awesome canvas off ebay and now deciding on white, black or brown frames for my wall of photos Re: Look what I made this morning! 13Mar 16, 2009 3:39 pm Yes House-To-Be it’s a monstera leaf, that to is a place mat that I bought and framed.

I think finding good frames is also the hard part, and a creative diy section sounds like great idea. I'd love to have the imagination to do something like that. I bought this fabulous piece of wrapping paper years ago, with the intention of doing something funky with it, but it is still rolled up and sitting on the shelf i imagine you also have another contract with an architect? and yeah, whatever other's said about special conditions and appendices 16 16755 Brass or 2) Stainless steel made - which Kitchen tap is good for drinking.Brass kitchen taps in Australia contain lead… 0 7086 |
