But only if you have time, I know you have lots on and specially now with your granny in hospital and all that...
One question, does the door need to match the windows, the roof or nothing at all? This is just too hard! Re: D@n's help - Michelle's and everyone's pls- external colours 4Mar 20, 2009 9:50 am Jochicho Hi all, We have our colour appointment on the weekend and we still haven't decided all the colours... it's just too hard. So far we have chosen: Bricks: Austral Symmetry Asphalt Roof tiles: Bristle Gunmetal Cladding: Dulux Warrm Neutral??? Gutters: probably woodland grey - Yes Good! Facsias: Woodland Grey Door: ???? Window frames: white or woodland grey (depending on cladding) Oh, by the way, we don't have any render, it's all face brick apart from the area that has the cladding on the facade. We are tossing between having the cladding an off white colour and the windows in the woodland grey or having the cladding a nice pale grey and then the windows white (I really like the look of white windows). What would work best? and how do we decide on which of the thousand pale greys availabe on the Taubmans range? (this is the pain our builder uses). Ahhh, this is just too hard. D@n, if you have a bit of time, would you mind putting the colours we have chosen so far onto the front elevation so everyone (including me) can get a better idea and help me fill in the gaps? If you are busy that's ok, I understand and more since you really don't know me Michelle, please feel free to put your 2 cents in too and all of you out there that always have lots of ideas! Below I am posting (well, will try to as it's my 1st time posting photos) the front elevation, a house we've seen with the bricks we like and a house we saw with a nice grey cladding that we really liked... Thanks in advance to everyone for your help and suggestions! any ideas welcome! I was thinking of doing the garage door the same colour as the cladding... but depending on what colour we go for the cladding, if it's anything like the Dulux one you've suggested (would have to find the equivalent in Taubmans as that's what our builder uses) then that would not work that well I think... Wouldn't the Warm neutral blend a bit too much with the bricks? since we are not having any render I was hoping the cladding would give a bit more contrast against the bricks... Umm, might have to get that colour in a paint card tomorrow and see it next to the real brick. On the screen it looks a bit pinkish, but it's not pink, is it? The Dulux colour consultants are awesome. If you show them the photos they should be able to figure it out for you straight away 1 1615 Thanks Pulse, thats really helpful and very much appreciated.
