Don't forget that Ikea has a good range of curtains too. I'm going to use their panel glides for the sliding doors, and possibly some of their black sheers for elsewhere. They are all well-priced too.

Judie Re: Has anyone made eyelet curtains? 22Mar 14, 2009 6:33 am Yes Judie, I considered Ikea, but their measurements are all 145cm, which is the exact size of my windows, which would not allow for much gathering otherwise they'd have been perfect, they have such a big range!
(though I am never sure if the 145cm refers to each curtain in a pair, or both together, but either way wold not be enough gathering going by the x2.5 rule) "Your emotions are the slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your emotions." — Elizabeth Gilbert Living in our new house. Re: Has anyone made eyelet curtains? 23Mar 14, 2009 2:05 pm donuts fitnhealthy In spotlight today they had a little curtain display set up and it had two colours one each end. For example one end was chocolate and tan both at the same end. Not sure if they were sewn together or not, but it looked really good. Has anyone seen this? Sorry for all the questions No I haven't seen this ... mind you I wasn't looking out for it ... sounds nice though, got a pic? I will see if I can go back next week and take a photo. I am sure the staff will think I am a little crazy, but I thought it looked really nice. Re: Has anyone made eyelet curtains? 24Mar 14, 2009 10:06 pm were they a bit like this? (except different colours) sorry can't post the pic but it's here:

Re: Has anyone made eyelet curtains? 25Mar 15, 2009 1:27 pm YES exactly like that and they had used a great combination of colours, which I could use in my place, I think it was red and tan colour, but I can't really remember.
So is that 4 curtains or only two with the colours joined? Re: Has anyone made eyelet curtains? 26Mar 15, 2009 9:08 pm I think it's 2 pairs of curtains on one rod, and then a sheer in a separate colour again, behind. Looks good! the website it came from had other pics too with a similar theme, have a look for inspiration, they have some really nice ones on there: www.jcpenney.com just wish they shipped to australia "Your emotions are the slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your emotions." — Elizabeth Gilbert Living in our new house.
