Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Mar 07, 2009 12:14 pm Hi Everyone,
I am trying to work out what colours to use to accessorise my new living room. Colours so far: Floorboards: light coloured wood floorboards Walls: will be painting either Light rice half strength (dulux) or Buff it half strength (dulux) Feature wall: Either Rich Biscuit (dulux) or Soft Impala (dulux) Lounge: Dark Chocolate brown I tried to upload all these colours but it didn't work out for me Basically it's just a whole pile of BROWN! From really light through to really dark. So I desperately need some colour in the mix to stop it being incredibly boring. Can anyone suggest a few colours that would look great together for cushions, artwork etc. to brighten the place up a bit. Or suggestions/opinions on the paint colours I have chosen would be great too. The room has very big windows facing west and will get the full afternoon sun, so very bright in afternoon, not so much in mornings. Thanks so much in advance Re: Please help me with decorating colours 2Mar 07, 2009 12:34 pm Light Rice half

While I can see orange does look great , especially with the chocolate brown lounge... I actuall don't like orange
What do you think about teal or fushia, together or separately, bright but used sparingly?? Re: Please help me with decorating colours 5Mar 07, 2009 1:30 pm Light Rice half

If so you could do it as paper mache (even if not as pinata you could still do it as paper mache) and if this is a serious post I can give you instructions. Made two disco balls for my DD birthday. Not meaning to insult your question, just not sure about this one. Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7157 i had the my concreters concrete right up to the fence. I have pits all along my path, so the water tends to drain away from the house and into the pits.
