we have almost finished building our dream home but i have no idea what colour sofa we should get. we have merbau timber floors, bone coloured walls and white ceiling and cornices. i thought going for a beige coloured leather sofa (we have kids so we need the 'wipe off option!') but we were told that we should in fact go for a dark coloured sofa? now im confused! our kitchen is charcoal with silver kickbacks and stainless steel appliances. help!!! The red looks nice but beige and a grey would also look good you could add even more colour by adding contrasting cusions. Can I highjack this thread and ask you if you can post a picture of your walls and ceilings, as I have gone for a bone coloured wall with white ceilings and am panicking re the white ceiling The painter has put 1st coats on so dont know if I can change my mind! Avoid the two tones or antiqued styles as they tend to loose the colour with wear.
