Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Feb 05, 2009 7:38 pm Just wondering what others have chosen for their wall, trim and internal door colours. We have chosen dulux 'hog bristle, quarter' for our main wall colour. Should I go wiht the same colours on the trims and doors, or go a white colour.. Has anyone got any pics.. please
our painter starts next week.. Built a modified "Daydream 279" .. Cor@l Homes on a flat 4473m block!! And lov'n it!!! Re: Walls, trims and doors? 2Feb 05, 2009 9:00 pm sorry seakyl, I don't have pics as we are all white. But I would go with white trims, I think would look stunning with Hog Bristle 1/4.
I also like them in full gloss (semi gloss seems to be the fashion these days but I like a bit of shine..) We used Dulux Antique White USA which I believe goes nicely with Hog Bristle. HTH! Re: Walls, trims and doors? 3Feb 05, 2009 10:11 pm We've gone with Solver Intermezzo on the walls and internal doors, 50% on ceilings and 200% on archs and skirts.
The CS at the paint shop said that we've picked a great colour as if we ever wanted to update the colour scheme in the future, then changing the trims to white, would really transform the whole look. It's also a colour that will match with basically any colour if we wanted to do a feature wall in the future. http://www.myperfectcolor.com/PhotoDeta ... This picture may give you an indication of how it looks with different colours at least...
