Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Feb 02, 2009 7:52 pm I am having parbury wallaby cupboards in my kitchen and wet areas.
I was just going to match up the doors and walls with the same colour and maybe quarter strength for the trims.(as my pantry has 3 normal doors on not the 2pack like the kitchen). Now I'm thinking it could be too much. Do you think maybe half strength on the walls and doors then what do I do with the trims? maybe still quarter strength or maybe go for white! I saw on another post where they used different colours for the trims and doors to the walls. Does this always look better it these are lighter than the wall colour or could they be darker? I was told I have a choice of wattle paints and can also have 1 feature wall. So I dont now wether to stick with this or go and check out the paint samples. I thought if I went the same colour it would blend in with the kitchen more.
Plus it saved me having to rush around making another decision But now I'm thinking of going lighter on the walls. I have a day off on thursday so maybe I will check out some colours. I will go and have a look at it thursday.
Would you use this on the walls then what would you use on the doors and trims? Or would you use this as a trim to go with russian toffee. Do I keep the walls and doors the same colour or the doors and trims? Decisions Decisions I may get them to mix me up a sample pot of half strength wallaby too to see what that looks like.
