Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jan 19, 2009 10:56 am Hi all
I have also posted in the floor coverings forum, but was hoping for some input about the look of various flooring. Am thinking of either spotted gum or grey ironbark for timber floors throughout our open plan kitchen living dining area as well as central hallway, up the stairs and upstairs living. The colours we have in the kitchen are fairly neutral - Benchtop - Essa stone purity Below cupboards - stipple seal Above cupboards - polar white Splashback - Stipple seal. Wall colour - solver smoke pearl with the possibility of either solver pelt or wallaby for feature walls. With these colours in the background, what do you reckon would look better - the spotted gum or the grey ironbark? Or is it all much of a muchness? Lighting features will be a combination of downlights and a drum light over the dining table. I’ll try again later.
