You do have to go with what you are comfortable with though - so if you think you will stress once this selection is 'locked in', then perhaps look at some other options while you can. Perhaps some of the nice embossed tiles that are all one colour effectively? It is so hard to be sure. Would be so much easier if our houses were built and we could take the sample to the exact spot to check it out! I think I prefer the self embossed tiles, which is what I had chosen first but it was glass and really expensive. They have already been delivered but I think I can return them at a small cost. Re: While we are on the subject of tiles..... 23Jan 19, 2009 1:18 pm Take 10 minutes for yourself…….close your eyes and picture the two different tiles and the selections you have with them.
Take your time and look at each combination and visualise the room finished in each combo. NOW…..you should be able to decide which one you want if you have given yourself the time. Do you think the grey one in the same pattern would go? It's a light grey, then a very light grey then white. The grey one actually looked more modern than this colour. Re: While we are on the subject of tiles..... 25Jan 19, 2009 1:33 pm Please explain this word……………. Modern!!!!!
Is that modern of this minute, modern of this day, modern of this year……get my drift! Who cares…….if you like it get it, I’m not too fussed about which colour, I think they both will look nice. It just depends what your putting them with them that will make the difference. Don’t be led by the noise Sue, make your own mind up……. From your description it sounds as if it would great with the white pedestal basin and the mirror, would make the area a real feature. From your description it sounds as if it would great with the white pedestal basin and the mirror, would make the area a real feature. awww thanks fairy blue, for asking .... but I have decided against it. I think in 12 months time I will be sick of it, I have opted for a white tile with a self embossed pattern of what looks like a skinny palm it's there but not there and will make the area look bigger. Very nice of you to ask Re: While we are on the subject of tiles..... 28Jan 22, 2009 1:35 pm Gathering ideas for myself also. Can't go wrong with a white tile.
