Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jan 18, 2009 12:48 pm AGAIN I had to change my downstairs powder room because the tile chosen was $53 a square of 6 tiles, would have cost $1000 for one wall .... no way. SO, have a look at this one and tell me what you all think , it will be on a whole wall behind a modern pedestal basin and a skinny rectangle mirror above. The pattern matches up to the next and so on, oh and the walls are 1/2 strength white duck with Mocha floor tiles.

I thing that tile's a bit busy SuH... and I'd even think that if it was grey and charcoal! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. I thing that tile's a bit busy SuH... and I'd even think that if it was grey and charcoal! Sorry to disappoint joles just me.... I am thinking it too, too busy, but it's not a big wall, 900 wide. They did have a charcoal one which I liked better but ...brown floor and not an option. Re: While we are on the subject of tiles..... 4Jan 18, 2009 1:07 pm The tiles look great, but it may be a bit too much if you use it for a whole wall

Re: While we are on the subject of tiles..... 13Jan 18, 2009 2:32 pm I love it too - I think because it has the different tonings in it it will be fine. I think that is what scared me about the black tiles - too much of one dark colour would freak me out

Although can you tell us what the rest of the room will have? If plain colours that coordinate then that will work I reckon. There is a white pedestal basin on this wall and a skinny rectangular mirror above. So the mirror would cover some of the tiles. The walls are plain whitish colour, the floor is a chocolate tile. The laundry cupboards are mushroom linea and expresso laminate top. You can see the laundry from this powder room if the door is open.
