Anyone tried it?? 174Dec 02, 2010 10:55 am Michelle sara.alag Hi all, What GORGEOUS work! Being an engineer - the artistic component of my brain is missing! We bought some canvases in bali a few months ago...but due to customs regulations we were unable to bring the canvas frames(wood) in - so we unmounted the canvas, rolled it up and brought it over...Now that we have moved in, I would like to get it mounted on a frame....How would I do this???? Any ideas MUCH appreciated.... Got a photo? for some reason didnt get notified about the replies!!! I will take a pic over the weekend and post it its a three painting type thingy (very technical isnt it)...basically its one picture divided into three paintings - im sure there is name for it i saw some similar size blank canvas at bunnings(but havent measured it up yet) and it was $ 25 a canvas and i need threee was hoping for a cheaper alternative.... will put up pic soon so that you guys can give me more ideas! The 75x100 one only cost me 20 there. And FYI - wood is Quarantine restrictions not Customs Built with RedInk Custom 5000 Key Handover 15/12/2009 Re: Home made artwork?? Anyone tried it?? 176Dec 02, 2010 12:23 pm I sorta made these. I ordered the prints in colours to match my little boys future bedroom, then i bought frames and then made grey borders using the backing paper from the frames. Im still undecided if i should paint the frames gloss white - as they a very warm white - looks bit dirty/cream Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Home made artwork?? Anyone tried it?? 177Dec 02, 2010 12:36 pm I do think gloss white will look much nicer with the brightness of the paper. Do you know what colour walls/door frames etc DS's room are?
