Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jan 12, 2009 9:21 pm Hi Michelle, in the thread below there is a photo of a dining room, (The Bridgeport in Pakenham, it is a display home.) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=12047
I really do like the wall colour. Do you have any idea what it might be? We can only choose Taubmans unfortunately. I think I would still go with the same white ceilings in the photo also. I noticed that they have accents of red, so would a red glass splashback still be fine with a white kitchen and that wall colour (and similar floor tiles). What do you think? Thanks in advance for your wonderful advice. ----------------------------------------- themax Re: Colour question for the ever so talented Michelle... 2Jan 12, 2009 9:30 pm I'm not Michelle - But I am ever so talented
It looks like it might be Chalk Beige from Wattyl. But you can ring Porter Davis and ask for Hopetoun Interiors number - you can then call them and ask them for the exact colour. Porter Davis only use Wattyl colours, but I'm sure if you find out what it is you could find a Taubmans paint to match. My karma ran over your dogma Thank you. 3Jan 13, 2009 6:17 am haygwl, Thank you so much. Of course by saying that about Michelle I don't mean to ignore the fact that there are many, many other talented people , such as yourself, on this forum. Yes, it is a very good idea to call and as the colour name, I appreciate your advice. I will do that.
I had settled on all white but when I saw that gorgeous picture it changed my mind, but wanted to make sure I could have my other choices (tiles, splashback) also. So thanks again, I'll get right to it...... themax Re: Colour question for the ever so talented Michelle... 4Jan 13, 2009 11:01 am This is sorted then?

Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Did you find the colour? 5Jan 13, 2009 2:36 pm Hi Themax, did you find the colour as i love that one too. In the last house we built i wanted a colour the same but i decided against it as the house was too small. If and when we build again the house should be bigger and therefor i can have that colour this time. I would love to know the name of the colour too. Thanks from Kim Re: Colour question for the ever so talented Michelle... 6Jan 14, 2009 4:49 pm Hi Themax, from memory the colours used in the Bridgeport at Pakenham are - Flokati used as the main flow colour with Pepper, White Pepper and I think Glacier Grey as the feature walls. I think the colour used in the family/meals area is White Pepper and Glacier Grey in the Lounge......but I could be wrong. Definitely not Chalk Beige, that's in the Brampton Display next door though Happy at Home You can really use anything you want the main consideration would be how it looks once painted/finished - or the look you want. Cabinetmakers use MDF because its cheap… 2 9978 I would say both styles you have pictured are steel. The lower chord of the first pic would be a massive lump if made using timber considering the size of the rafters. If… 1 6157 1 13128 |
