Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jan 09, 2009 2:03 pm Hello All,
Just spoke with the staff in Hopetoun (The do all the colours etc for Porter Davis). The staff also mentioned that these colours have a solver mixed with them (not exactly sure what it does but I am of the belief it lightens the colour) We like the wall colours in two of their display homes. Moondust (We also really like the tiles in this house) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The other colour is called Silky beige Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Just after some thoughts on these colours I like them and so does my partner, not exactly sure what the solver part entails but I'm sure it shouldn't be any problem. If you take notice of how each of the houses/ photos are decorated you will notice there is 2 styles happening. 1 modern and 1 classic. What type of decorating will you be doing….like the first photo or the 2nd one? What type of decorating will you be doing….like the first photo or the 2nd one? We are more likely to be along the more modern style of home in he first picture. I really like in both the pictures the contrast against the white cornice and feature columns (both homes have them). I personally think the moondust colour will work better with the tiles (obviously PD thought so as well and matched them) - On the other hand I think those tiles will cost an arm and a leg and may be outside our budgeted range won't know that until tomorrow when we visit national tiles. I walk through the displays homes which are generally immaculate and go oooh I like that and oooh this as well! Re: Opinions wanted on two possible wall colours 6Jan 09, 2009 2:43 pm Well that was easy, I'm going to paint my entire house Silky Beige .
Both look lovely but I like the warmth of the second one, the first appears cooler to me. Building Upside down house in Wantirna VIC Current Stage: Procrastination... it's just all too hard.... Michelle do you have moondust on any of your colour cards? Just looking at the ones I have I cannot find it anywhere.
