we have a feature wall in the entrance hallway that we still have not decorated. Please see photo attached. We thought of putting some white pebbles and artificial plant. If you have better ideas please share with us... Thank you. Do you have lighting within the niche for artwork ? It there is lighting in the top of the niche, which I hope you have done, when the light shines down it reflects onto the coloured glass, it very pretty. Any suggestions on feature wall paint? Have a wall in the middle divides the kitchen and the living... Planning to have our tv their on the living side and the wall on the kitchen side put a big mirror or a wall painting? ... how about if we put a niche? Please help thanks! sharon Re: Feature Wall - Ideas needed!! 10Jan 04, 2009 12:33 pm Hi Jasmel,
I too agree that art would look fantastic on this wall. I saw a similar wall in a display home once where they actually put architrave (stained wood look) around the the edge of the wall to create a picture frame and the art was on the wall inside the cut out. Gallery wrap style art is best as it is not already framed. If you liked this idea you could paint the architrave a chocolate or similar colour if that goes with your colour scheme better. I hope this helps you. Hi guys We have just removed a very large grape vine which was mounted to a structure along this wall.
