Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Dec 27, 2008 7:55 pm Hey homeoners,
We are now at Completion Stage with Carlisle - the Atlantique Mk2. I just need some advice on our kitchen colours, and tell me what you think. Overhead Cabinets: Espresso Ligna & Antique White Perspex Doors Base Cabinets: Oyster Linea Kickboard: Stainless Steel Laminate Benchtop: Caesar Stone Osprey Glass Splashback: Sparkling Shiraz on clear glass. I don't know how to post photos, but if you look on http://www.realestate.com.au/realestate ... /105430162 , you can have an idea of our kitchen style. It is an L shape kitchen with timber bifold servery window. Has anyone got a clearfloat glass splashback? Will I need downlights under the overheads? Will the colours work well? Also, I am wondering what kind of colours I can have for feature walls. You can go to www.carlislehomes.com.au/atlantique2.html and see the floorplan. The entry and area between the theatre and lounge will be a white rectangular sealed porcelain 300 by 600. The kitchen, meals and family will be a Kempas or Merbau floating timber floor. The facade is the one pictured on the website above, the small image next to the description. Colours will be the same, with the same splitface bricks. However, the far left hand side will be render of the colour to the left of front door. And I am thinking of repainting the render above garage and above porch to a red.. Should I? Or maybe a moroine or burgundy to match the kitchen splashback.. The bathrooms and ensuites will have very similar colour sheme to kitchen. All surfaces, ie skirtings, architraves, cornices, walls and ceilings will be a DULUX BEIGE ROYAL 1/4 STRENGTH. Where can I have feature walls? And what colour. Sorry for the long post! I'm not great on colours but i do think it would be a nice flow-through if your render colour matched your splashback! Sorry, can't really help with the other questions but your colours do sound nice...look forward to seeing the finished product reply 3Dec 29, 2008 1:24 pm Thanks for the advice, havingfun!

I no longer do the long ones like this, this to me a consultation size question. I will answer as much of it as I can, without going into too much detail. Sorry.
