Hope that you all had a great Christmas. We have been in our new place for 6 months now and we're starting to slowly get into decorating all of the rooms one at a time. I'm after some advice for a paint colour for our main bedroom. I would like to paint a feature wall behind the bed head to inject some colour in the room. Pictures below, tell me what you think. There is a lot of natural light coming into this room when the blinds are up. The walk in robe (behind the bed head) has two tall thin windows, the bedroom has an additional tall thin window and a really large one. The ensuite (at the other end of the room) has two tall thin windows, but the blinds in there are nearly always closed due to being able to see in from the road! I'm also looking at buying two large prints for above the bed, the colour of these will depend on what colour the wall ends up being. I'm interested to hear everyone's comments. Thanks in advance! I would buy the prints first for above your bed head. There are more colours available in paints than there is in prints. So if you purchase the prints first, I can pick a colour from the prints to complement them on the wall. I am still undecided whether it should even be a feature wall at all, if I find the right prints that may bring enough colour to the room anyway.
Thanks for your advice, and if I do decide to paint after getting the prints, you'll be the first to know! Re: Paint Colour Advice 4Dec 27, 2008 7:14 pm Have fun!
More shopping……………… Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7143 Versaloc is a mortarless besser block system that still needs a properly engineered footing. If you just do a 400x200 footing it will fail in time. At 17m long you need it… 1 15710 Thank you. That is really helpful. Once we get the place done and passed for OC we can upgrade in the future once we get back on our feet and not paying mortgage and rent. 4 5713 |
