The other day my sister asked DS (3yo) what he wanted for Christmas, his answer was 'a Christmas tree'. I felt so bad not giving him one yet Re: Xmas decorations….for the new home owners 4Dec 11, 2008 8:43 pm Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Xmas decorations….for the new home owners 6Dec 12, 2008 8:41 am donuts I am waiting till we move in to put up the tree. Re: Xmas decorations….for the new home owners 8Dec 12, 2008 11:40 am Rellie, your decorations look great!!
Its my birthday, so we don't really do lots of decorations, but we have a little plastic tree with the fibre optic lights thingys. Re: Xmas decorations….for the new home owners 10Dec 12, 2008 3:01 pm Very nice rellie.
I did get a new tree, because I refused to put up my old one. Thought we would be having Christmas in the new house. Will put a photo on later. It's a fibre optic one and is very pretty. But that's about it nothing more than a tree. Re: Xmas decorations….for the new home owners 11Dec 12, 2008 3:42 pm Oooh, gorgeous, rellie!!!
We'll be moving in around the 20th, when I think I will collapse in a heap on the lovely shiny timber floors, porcelain tiles (...okaay, maybe not ) or, most likely, our lovely yet-to-be-laid wool carpet!!!!!!!!!! I normally put our tree up on Dec 1, but there's barely room to swing a cat in this rental, with all 6 of us, so I haven't put it up here....might make a token effort when we move in! I HAVE put the kids' stockings, which I made when they were little, on the new fire place, and a reindeer candle thing and my J O Y letters on top ofthe fp surround - oh, and a wreath on the front door, so there's a touch of Christmas happening! I just typed "Christmad".....quite appropriate this year, really........! I’m not doing anything this year, the first time ever! I feel bad, but I don’t want all the decorations around while the house is for sale. Plus I don’t really feel very xmasy this year. That’s why I want to see everyone else’s Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Xmas decorations….for the new home owners 14Dec 12, 2008 7:59 pm Sharee donuts I am waiting till we move in to put up the tree.
