Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Dec 11, 2008 1:45 pm Hi Michelle, hello all.
Would love to get some advice on a colour for the hallway walls in my 1930 Bungalow. The carpet will be gone and the Baltic pine floorboards will be polished. I am pretty sure that there is fretwork under that partition so I will be removing the material covering it. I havent moved in yet and may not have internet access for a while when I do so wanted to get advice now....really want to start on the hallway first and then work through the rooms. I am thinking yellow although in my last bungalow I think I used too deep a yellow. Otherwise what about a kind of light mossy green type colour? Would that look OK with the white woodwork? Thanks heaps. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Paint Colour for Hallway 2Dec 11, 2008 2:14 pm WOW I always find it amazing how people call such large houses Bungalows. Anyway what a long hallway, I love yellow it's my fave colour you can get some nice shades just don't go canary If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. There's no use being a damn fool about it. W.C. Fields Brought Established. Re: Paint Colour for Hallway 3Dec 11, 2008 4:30 pm Colsy….yellow is one of the best colours for an entry and hallway.
It’s a bright happy cherry colour and also said to be welcoming. However I would stay away from the vivid yellows they are far too hard to live with. Hare’s some colours to look for.
