I bought a established home and everything in & out are pretty new especially inside. I'm thinking of painting the whole house myself and not sure what colour I should use and what kind of thing I should paint on before the colour. Any suggestion anyone out there?

Are you able to provide pictures of what the house looks like, for exsisting colour schemes. (ie kitchen, bathrooms, floor covering and maybe one of the exterior - everyone loves pictures on H1 )
Are the walls are already sealed and painted?
If they are raw then you need to do a sealing coat so the paint sticks and doesnt ruin the walls - oil based sealer is better than water, because water may wash off. Then two top coats. There are paint products out there that reduce the two coats to one, but it may not be the sheen you are after.
Hope this helps a little bit
