Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Dec 07, 2008 11:08 pm Hello, just wondering whether anybody can share some nice neutral colours or white paints by Dulux that look great for interior walls/ceiling etc. We have a laminex polar white kitchen with ice snow caesarstone top - so don't know whether I should realistically stick with whites or it doesn't really matter???
If anyone has any pictures/ideas/input, this would be much appreciated. Thanks heaps Shel PPS: Media Room colours - thinking along the lines of Arava or Warm Neutral - has anybody seen any colours that look good for a media room. Thank you. Re: Dulux Interior Colours 2Dec 08, 2008 8:05 am Hi Shel, we have Antique White USA throughout our house, it is a warm white which we are very happy with; the only thing I have noticed just slightly is that against our also Polar White kitchen, it has the very slightest tinge of yellow. (See my house of donuts thread for pics)
I have heard White on White is a more neutral white, this might be better against Polar White. I don't think you are limited to just whites because of your kitchen. I ju$st prefer them personally. Can't help with your feature colours sorry. Hopefully mich will come along and help you soon. Good luck. Re: Dulux Interior Colours 3Dec 08, 2008 8:59 am Thanks Donuts. I will have a look at yours to give me a good idea. Thanks heaps for that. It is hard to know what a safe colour is going to be isn't it - is there such a thing anyway???
Ta Shel Re: Dulux Interior Colours 4Dec 08, 2008 4:29 pm A safe colour is………….a colour that is neutral enough for all other colours to complement.
