I’m doing the same feature wall in my next bedroom, but the ottoman won’t fit. So it’s going out in the entry. I hope you're charging yourself for all this consultation work! After 2 false starts, a year living overseas, two more world trips and 3 years of uncertainty we are now starting the build process again - hopefully for real this time! -Sha Re: New thread, my new house. 67Dec 05, 2008 1:52 pm As beautiful as your home is remember Michelle it is not the structure that makes it a home - it is the hearts enclosed in it. So soon you will have a new "skeleton" to fill with your heart and soul.
And in a year's time you will wonder how you could worry about moving ............... Some things are worth waiting for. Re: New thread, my new house. 68Dec 05, 2008 2:08 pm Thank you sha, and your right kyton.
I am excited about moving to my new home but 22 years in this place is a long time. LOTS of hard work has been put into this home. That’s why I’m down sizing…..at my age I see it as a good thing. I had this wonderful inspirational reply for you but really you are the one that has got to come to terms about leaving. It must be so difficult as there are so many memories involved and all the love you have devoted to your garden, must make you very sad but hopefully excited that you can do it again at your next home. Mrs B Re: New thread, my new house. 70Dec 05, 2008 6:24 pm Hi Mrs B, yes a lot of love has gone into this place….work wise.
Thank you so much, in my next place I will try and keep the gardens to a minimal, this is the one thing I love to do in my spare time. And all those pots you see, they are coming with me! But hey, there’s novels to write and publishers to find, so I’m looking forward to getting on with that and spending less time around all the gardens I have created here. I must say today…..I’m not coping very well, I have good days and bad, today is a bad.
