It looks great. I've come in late to the discussion but am as pleased as punch that you got the place you want . Love the alfresco area ... looks intimate and warm. I'm looking forward to seeing your decorating touch on the place. Re: I want to buy a house, how easy was that! 84Nov 23, 2008 3:56 pm I have so many ideas Dy……my head is about to pop!
That little alfresco area will be painted a soft latte colour to cosy it even more. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And that little pool house thingy……plans for that thing as well. Thats great news. Re: I want to buy a house, how easy was that! 86Nov 23, 2008 5:19 pm What are you thinking of for the pool house? Is it big enough to turn it into a usable cabana... maybe an outdoor shower room? There was a design show on foxtel last week where the challenge was to design a cabana/beach house ... trying to remember the show ....?? Design something or other. Re: I want to buy a house, how easy was that! 87Nov 23, 2008 5:28 pm Dy, no, nothing that big a project, that little thing houses all the pool stuff and motor I think.
I’m just going to give it a coat of paint and make it look cute. But to the right of if, could be a nice little cabana. Thanks PK, the owners have found another house so they are keen to settle ASAP, I told my agent they need to wait till I get the inspection before they start jumping ahead. If there are structural problems with the house, I’m not buying it! Maybe a nice outdoor shower against the fence or even on the wall .
I have this thing about outdoor showers ... how practicable I don't know but they seem like a sexy idea Re: I want to buy a house, how easy was that! 89Nov 23, 2008 5:54 pm DeeElle Very cute little house. I might just do that once I move and get sorted. Not doing any painting internally for a while, guess what, it has lime green paint in the toilet! Agent said, “That’ll have to go”, no……might leave it for a while. Transition will be the gardens, pool and BBQ area first. But I have been turning myself inside out trying to sort out where my furniture will go. Can’t wait to move and show you all the difference, just in that alone. Yep, I’m busting at the bit to move now. I can’t believe the crap you have to go through just to get there. It all seems to be going too slow for me. Typical Scorpion, once I’ve made my mind up to do something I need to do it straight away. I’ve started packing. Anyone bought an ironing board lately?? $100 …………. What’s THAT all about? I went to K-Mart, got the Homemaker brand, which I thought was better than the other ones, and it was only $61, scoop. So I bought a brushed stainless kettle as well. Make not to myself, stop giving everything to number one daughter, then I wouldn’t need to buy more of what I had once!
