Kicker is stainless steele, (either real or laminate) Benchtop maybe Ice Snow? Hard to tell. Other cupboards no idea. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Kitchen colours 4Nov 16, 2008 12:06 pm I think I've seen that pic up on this forum before... I LOVE that splashback colour but I don't think anyone was able to decipher what it is Love how it matches the back of the island bench. But I don't like the joins in the back of the island bench, they're a bit visible aren't they? Re: Kitchen colours 5Nov 16, 2008 12:08 pm I really like that kitchen, love the brownish splashback. Shel, my daughter recently had a beautiful metalic splashback put in called Java Dusk, it is a little (not much) darker than the picture and she has flat white cupboards, it looks very clean and lovely. Re: Kitchen colours 6Nov 16, 2008 12:35 pm Thanks guys. Suh, I just had a look at the java colour and it is very nice - did you say she has it with a bright white or antique/off white? Ta Shel
Donuts, yes, I see what you mean, it detracts your eye, doesn't it. In particular I love the colour of the splashback, yes. I wonder if you could even do away with the chocolatey colour on the back of the island bench?? Re: Kitchen colours 8Nov 16, 2008 12:51 pm I think the darker(match?) colour on the under bench really helps to show off that splash back. I wonder if those lines are cupboard doors. it seems odd that joins would show up that much. Re: Kitchen colours 9Nov 16, 2008 1:00 pm Shel Thanks guys. I wonder if you could even do away with the chocolatey colour on the back of the island bench?? She has Laminex White, it isn't a brilliant white but not cream either. I am also having the same White but high gloss. I will try and take a photo of her kitchen this week sometime and show you. She has the java dusk on the back of her breakfast bar as well...very very nice! I am having an even darker splashback called Ironstone, it's a metalic dark cocolate colour. I like darker colours with white, it gives a nice contrast. If you want to go a bit lighter than the Java, have a look at Ferric Sheen, I am having some cupboards and the back of my island bench done in this, it is lighter than Java Dusk, kind of a champagne colour, I like champagne too Re: Kitchen colours 10Nov 16, 2008 1:08 pm SuH, just had a look at Ferric sheen - it is awesome!!! Love it. Wonder if my local fellow has it. I am going to check tomorrow. What did you say you were going to put at the front of your island bench - any colour or just leaving white? Thanks very much, Shel Re: Kitchen colours 11Nov 16, 2008 1:59 pm donuts But I don't like the joins in the back of the island bench, they're a bit visible aren't they? Could they be cupboards? What did you say you were going to put at the front of your island bench - any colour or just leaving white? Thanks very much, Shel I am putting the FerricSheen at the front of the island bench with the Ferric Sheen cupboards (pull out pantries) will be down the side near the island and the benchtop is CStone Nougat which matches nicely with it. Did you see Ironstone, maybe it was Ironbark? I can't remember now. Yeah, Ironbark I think it is quite dark, but I'm not scared....yet anyway, lol. Re: Kitchen colours 13Nov 16, 2008 6:58 pm Shel Hello again, here is a kitchen I have found with nice colours. What do you think? Anyone able to decipher any colours? ha ha Thanks heaps, Michelle I like the kitchen too. esp the pearl bisque cupboards..very nice Could the splashback/cupboard back be: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I think the chamois looks like a good match. Hey. Head to a metal and decide on which profile you will use first. Profiles with larger corrugations can greatly change the appearance of the color in different… 0 3388 I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 34277 |
