Hi Michelle - just joined and thrilled to know there is someone like you who can help with these random questions.
My query is about the colour trim I should have in our Victorian home. We have chosen Resene Blanc for the walls (or maybe half blanc.... I must say in today's overcast light our test patch of Blanc was looking a bit dull). We were advised (by a colour consultant at a home show) to paint the trims and doors white. Now, does that mean just plain white? Or do we need to choose one of the many other shades of white? And should this be the same as the ceiling colour?
We definitely don't want to go dark with the trim - a bit dramatic for us, although I think it looks great in big spaces.
This is probably a very basic question, but I have never owned, or therefore painted, a house before this one, so never thought about these things!
Thanks in advance.
