Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Oct 28, 2008 4:47 pm Hi Michelle
I would really appreciate it if you could offer your opinion on the color scheme for the external front of my partner's house. As per photos his house is rendered brick and he just recently put up the front fence with the capping and rendered brick. His roof is an Indian red colour and his shuttes are red and white, what colour do you think he should paint the front of his house and the front fence? Should he paint the capping on the front fence a different colour to the rest of the fence? Also he is wanting to make the square wall next to the front door on the left as a feature wall and therefore a seperate color to the rest of the house, what would you suggest? We would so appreciate your help and suggestions as we cant afford to spend a fortune on the wrong colors, any advice you could offer would be very much appreciated. Thanking you Angela. Not a bad idea. It all depends on finances. See it wasn’t hard for you to join and post a few photo, well done!! Ok here’s my spin on it. The capping should stay as is, I would leave the red roof as it own identity. I think he has done a great job so far, very nice! Now for the front wall. He has short windows, so that wall is quite big to the left as it runs under the window.
