We are having hip roof and colour bond and render walls and 1 window smaller the window steped back near garage will be removed (no step back) and at other end of house this stepped back wall will have a glass slider in lue of window Colours Selected Roof - Surfmist Gutter and Facier- Surfmist REnder - Dulux Beige Royal ( this is the one we need help on) Feature Colour of Dune - around garage door, front door pillars and the stepped back wall opposite end to garage) Front door Doulble (stained floating bit and frames) with clear galss and clear glass side lights Garage door panel lift woodgrain look any help /comments would be good as we have never built before and not using a project builder we have no ideas what this will look like It is in QLD and heat a big factor thus the surf mist roof if any one could photo shop please do so we need all the help we can get I am realy worried it will look to boring beacuse it is so long but it suited the block LOL Were buiding and know nothing Re: exterior paint ideas what do you think 3Oct 20, 2008 4:03 pm I think those colours will look good. if you are worried about it looking plain, i wouldnt. a few months after you have landscaped and put plants, trees, etc... around it will look really good.
i live in brisbane in a brick house it is very light brick and it certainly helps with the heat. so good choice on colours. is the timber grain timber colour? my garage door has timber grain but it is painted white. if yours is a timber colour that will be nice. sorry,colourbond wont let me copy the colours. Does anyone else have a comment I realy need a little help I am so unsure I did read in another post if the roof was so large that wall colour has to stand out I don't think our will I realy want the street appeal to be good As we will be selling this one and the way the market is now I don't want to make a mistake that will cost us later.
