The ball one reminds me of a light fitting my parents had and wouldn't get rid of. We all thought it was hideous. Funnily enough, I've seen very similar shades come back into fashion now!
The floor lamp is a classic and won't date. You can't go wrong with it. BTW can you tell me where the first two lights are from? I'm looking too. Option one for me. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Kitchen Ceiling Lights 7Oct 16, 2008 1:23 pm I like #1 too.
It is the kind of the same thing I would like, although I want them in a deep red. Re: Kitchen Ceiling Lights 10Oct 16, 2008 3:52 pm I love #3 too, but #1 looks like it would match better with floor lamp and i think that they are both something that will look good for a long time. #3 is a designer piece.
#3 comes apart like a puzzle, so you can just dunk it in water to clean it and take it apart to change bulb. (I wasnt around the last time it was in fashion). I like the second a bit more but can't quite choose! I don't have a pic of my kitchen as its still being built, but this is pretty much the same, but I'm not having the raised bench, just a level one. I'm thinking of putting them over the kitchen sink instead of the 2 downlights. Maybe I can get the electrician to move them a bit closer together?? Or put them over the bench instead of the sink? Which means when you walk in the door, they will be running vertical with the house instead of inline with the front wall? Or do you think that the lower roof is enough of a feature and I should put the lights over the dinning table instead??? Now I'm confused So I'm just reading up on this ecosystem of lights. I'm planning on putting deck lights along the outside edge of a large deck. Will need about 3 packs (18 lights) plus… 0 23022 How do you remove one of these ceiling air con vents? And is it possible to disconnect the duct joined to the vent from inside the house, without going into the roof cavity? 0 5944 There is water getting into the ceiling, I expected to find some holes in the corrugated roof but there weren't any so I suspect that the roof drip edge is letting water… 0 2452 |
