Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Oct 12, 2008 1:46 pm We have rendered our 1970's house in Dulux double strength raw cashew nut. Timber panel above door & new windows is colourbond ironstone same as panel lift garage doors, front wall (courtyard) and fascia around garage is dulux columbia. Windows are Rylock aluminium pearl grey windows. Front door cannot be seen from street (behind garage doors and front wall with timber slat gates & panels in swan river red). Front door is corinthinan pmad104 with matching sidelights - suggestions have been red, aqua blue/green, berry colours etc. Want the door to stand out without looking cheap and don't want to make the entry too dark. The primer is starting to grow on me!!
A colour to blend and a colour to standout/feature would be helpful. Thanks. red 2Oct 12, 2008 2:31 pm i downloaded ironstone and raw cashew and put a couple of reds with them , but these reds are just photoshop colours so prob have see what dulux has. some other colours... from dulux this time. 5Oct 13, 2008 10:00 am I looked at some colours on the dulux website.
For red: Red Box (bright red) Blues; Blue Mediterranean and Fresco Blue (would bring a smile to anyones face) Purple; Grapeshot (probably a bit subtle) I also like the suggestion of Black too. It all depends on what colour you like.
