I have got colour broachers coming out of my ears here in my office and nothing with Man of War in it. How many do I need to get! I’ve had a look at Mud Skipper and it looks like it will be ok with the Man of War on your door. It will however go nice with your cupboards. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Skirting and internal door colours? 25Oct 09, 2008 8:22 pm Sharee, this is exactly what NEARLY happened to me! But I caught it just in time and managed to change it (and it took a lot of arguing with Simonds).
It is standard to have it all one colour. they told me it was going to be extra $$$, but they didn't charge us. Re: Skirting and internal door colours? 26Oct 09, 2008 8:49 pm Thanks Michelle and everyone else!
Miss81 I am about to have your problem with myt glass splashback I think! At the colour selection the consultant suggested and showed us a sample of dulux 'mudskipper' on a glass splashback and I loved it and chose it. No one ever mentioned anything about he different types of glass, I checked my selections today and sure enough we have the clear glass like you - god only knows what colour it will turn out! Re: Skirting and internal door colours? 27Oct 09, 2008 8:53 pm Sharee, we will definitely have the wall colour on the skirts and architraves. I prefer the look when everything is the same.
Jo I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Skirting and internal door colours? 28Oct 10, 2008 8:13 am Sharee try not to worry about the splashback - the mud skipper is a dark colour and will look fine with the green tinge behind it, I don't even think you will notice it
At PD selection centre they had a few dark brown samples on clear (green) glass and they looked fine My karma ran over your dogma Re: Skirting and internal door colours? 29Oct 10, 2008 8:39 am Thanks Bel, I'd already started rearranging the budget to have the splashback taken down and I haven't even seen the thing yet!
I was hoping the the mudskipper might be dark enough to get away with it, makes me feel better if you have seen some dark brown and they looked ok. Fingers crossed! Re: Skirting and internal door colours? 30Mar 19, 2009 9:28 am Hi All,
similar issue with simonds now .... could anyone advise what they have done ? our internal wall colour is moon river. Not sure how the doors and skirting would look in that colour. Miss81 : how did you manage to get without cost ? Claego : How much extra did simonds quote for white dooers and skirtings ? Land Settled 27/04/09. Site Started 30/4/09. Slab poured 21/5/09.
