Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jan 01, 2021 12:13 pm Hi everyone Can I have your suggestions please on what kind of lounge I should buy for my loungeroom of our new holiday house? We bought the place furnished so I'd like to get rid of the red 2.5 and 2 seater lounges, but not sure what configuration to replace it with. The problem with the 2 lounges facing each other (with TV in between) is that we miss out on the view. The sliding doors to the right of the photo, looks out onto a creek so we find we spend more time twisting around to look out the window, than watching TV. The windows also pose a problem, as the only solid wall we have is the one behind the TV (so really nowhere else for the TV to go, without it being in front of a window). And the corner I'm standing in to take the photo is all windows with another weird 2-seater sofa in the corner. My question is, do we just replace the two sofas with new less-bulky ones (same configuration)? Or move the TV to the corner (where the bookcase is), then put a small modular lounge against the wall? Or some other suggestion? I think I'm stuck with what we have, but hoping someone out there has other suggestions..... thanks!
