No but we did sell our last place in less than a week. In fact we nearly sold it on the day we signed up with the real estate agent, brought someone same day but they took to long decieding. The following weekend, someone came around and brought it on the spot. We sold a dream. I like the way my number 8 turned into a cool smiley. 3xb Re: Selling House - Ideas For Kitchen? 22Jun 20, 2007 10:09 am Thanks so much guys - fantastic ideas!!! I have printed them out and have them ready to attack the place!!
We sold our last house in a week as well and geez it was nice not having to go through the whole home open week after week saga! A bit of work beforehand was wirth it! I plan to get the place in top notch condition as I have seen so many places around here go for way above what they are worth simply because they have been presented so well - people get sucked into the appearance and they forget what the place will look like without all your furniture & finishings!!! I am just hoping that my 2 year old co-operates through the whole thing! He is a walking cyclone so it shall be interesting! What are your guys thoughts on photos? Some people say that you should take down all family photo's so that potential buyers can imagine themselves living in the place but others say that they add warmth and personality to a place???? Maybe the best thing may be to go in between....take down some but still have a couple out? I'll take some photo's when it is all ready to sell Have a great day! Make sure it looks nice from the street, so many people drive to an open and don;t even get out of their car because they didn;t like it from the street. Tidy garden, bit of lansscaping if ned be, and that wow that place looks nice feeling. Then when they get inside it all matches their impressions. The lower chord of the first pic would be a massive lump if made using timber considering the size of the rafters.
