I love my house!! We had a pre existing plain glass mirror attached to the wall when we bought our first home. It looked unfinished so we ordered an amazing frame to be made and stuck it on ourselves. Looked fabulous! Re: Mirrors in Melbourne 8Mar 23, 2013 5:11 pm Found one, actually two from Mirror Mirror. Well not as detailed as the one the mirror but good enough for me. 116x168 which will fit above my 178cm vanity near perfectly (one side of the vanity is against the wall so leaving a 5cm gap each side of the vanity is ideal). Got the gold one on sale for $250 and the silver for $195 (as its missing a couple of beads). No sales on new silver ones. I've seen them on eBay secondhand go for more. Hopefully one of them should look great above my vanity. Cheaper than a custom made plain stegbar mirror too. I'll post a photo once it's installed. Tiling should be done by end of the week. Re: Mirrors in Melbourne 9Mar 23, 2013 5:31 pm Woah!!! Those look FANTASTIC! Such a fantastic price, too! Thanks for the update I've still been wondering whether or not to scratch the ugly build mirrors and get my own. Must head down to mirror mirror and accidentally scratch a few lmao! HD Re: Mirrors in Melbourne 11Mar 24, 2013 4:39 pm JB1 Glad you like them. Since you already have mirrors, maybe you can retain the mirrors but stick on a border frame. will you share with us photos of when you have them up in your bathrooms? Very excited to see! Oh I haven't even done my final colour selections yet so I can ask them still to remove the mirrors but the frame is a good idea too HD Re: Mirrors in Melbourne 12Mar 24, 2013 5:20 pm JB1 Found one, actually two from Mirror Mirror. The tiling is starting tomorrow so I'm getting the mirrors delivered in a fortnight or so. I'll put it up and take a photo for you. I'm going floor to ceiling tiles with cornices over the tiles. So I'll have to take it down again for the plasterers to install the cornices and painters to paint it. After having a plain mirror, I'm going to get something different. Looking forward to seeing the finished product I hear you about the plain mirrors. I remember watching a home decorating how where the changed the mirror and I was floored at how much of a difference that made! HD I do enjoy the drama:-D In his latest two videos he has started bringing security guards to site, I am waiting for the punch on to begin lol 6 45439 It's all about wireless, self install now. The cost/benefit of wired setups for the house are no longer what they used to be. Lots of wireless options.
