Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Aug 16, 2010 7:52 pm Gosh choosing exterior colours is hard work!! My husband works away so makes it harder too. Whilst he was home we looked at alot of colours and this is what we came to agree on. roof tiles (harmony) - monsoon gutters - woodland grey render (main) - bushland pillar render - woodland grey garage - surfmist I was wondering what colour should we do fascias, downpipes, front door, window frames?? Ive included photo of the facade (pillars will be rendered) & colours http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/qq27/LeanneRowe/Challenger.jpg http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/qq27/LeanneRowe/monsoon.jpg monsoon roof tiles - although they are lighter IRL http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/qq27/LeanneRowe/Colorbond-Woodland-Grey.jpg http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/qq27/LeanneRowe/Colorbond-Bushland.jpg http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/qq27/LeanneRowe/Colorbond-Surfmist.jpg woodland grey, bushland & surfmist Re: Exterior Colours 2Aug 16, 2010 7:57 pm Nice to see someone doing something different in colour. Forgot to mention bricks will be cream but you cant see them at the front anyways. Hubby reckons we should go surfmist door as in our colour pick forms says something about dark doors can warp & they take no responsibilty for this. Not sure how common this is though Re: Exterior Colours 4Aug 16, 2010 8:45 pm Yes dark colours can warp a door, but if yours is undercover and away from the afternoon sun, there is no need to worry.
