Re: Help me decide - French recipes 185Jul 18, 2010 12:12 pm Ok so last night i had another dinner party - the main one!! i've never cooked anything other than bbq for 7 people before - talk about a bit of work, but I made sure that I prepped everything so when it came time to serving not a lot really needed to be done! So the menu was nibblies of cheeses and home made pate, home made french onion dip, home mode corn relish dip and cheese and kabana with lots of different bikkies and celery and carrot sticks Dinner was Boeuf Bourguignon with butter and herb chat potatoes and desert was Chocolate tart with cream and home made raspberry sauce. I did however over cook the chocolate tart but the middle bit was ok but the edge was a bit ummm crunchy and dry We also consumed a few beers, 2 bottles of bubbles and 5 bottles of red wine Boeuf Bourguignon with butter and herb chat potatoes http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v177/lisanne77/FrenchMonth/FrenchDinner1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v177/lisanne77/FrenchMonth/FrenchDinner4.jpg Chocolate tart with cream and raspberry sauce http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v177/lisanne77/FrenchMonth/FrenchDinner3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v177/lisanne77/FrenchMonth/FrenchDinner6.jpg Nibblies: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v177/lisanne77/FrenchMonth/FrenchDinner5.jpg 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.'
