Re: What's for dinner? 2May 12, 2009 5:48 pm Shepherd's Pie here. Traditional way with leftover lamb (only way I reckon ). We had a roast leg of lamb last night, always cook an extra big leg so that the next night we have pasties or Shepherd's Pie. I love Thai, kek! Re: What's for dinner? 8May 12, 2009 9:06 pm Dh was cooking and he planned pork with rice and veggies but when he went to get the pork out it seemed we didn't have any afterall. so we ended up haivng chicken, bean mix combo ( the raw type mung bean, chickpeas etc type.) and mashed potato. it was cold last night and we all felt the need for something filling and a little stodgy I guess. So we had vegeroni pasta with stroganoff ( made with good grade beef mice rather than cubed beef), mixed veg and I made a vanilla cake type pudding with stewed apple and icecream for dessert. DH and I enjoyed the apple with ours but DS1 tried it and didn't like the apple bit and DS2 wouldn't even touch it. Oh well.
