Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Jul 01, 2020 9:12 am Love a good forum. G'day all, we have just purchased our first home in Mlebourne's south. Its an early 80's, brick vaneer two bedroom unit with a large backyard with a nostalgic hills hoist. We get the keys in 4 weeks and have been planning to update the interior straight away. The place is in fantatstic condition, it just hasn't been changed since it was new. Straight up we are planning to paint, put Vinyl floorboards and carpet throughout and install LED downlights throughout (All the standard COOKIE CUTTER things). At the moment the kichen/dining/laundry/bathroom/toilet are covered in very ugly pinkish cermaic tiles. I have lifted a vent in the bedroom and can see that there is chipboard under there. My question is - What would these pink tiles be mounted to? And is it worth ripping them up? Thank you. HBCF ( Home Building Compensation Fund) - This is if the builder dies or goes broke. But this only covers 20%… 1 3112 Thanks for that! Yeah, I was thinking timber front door. 10 22240 4 11762 |
