The building line is about 10m front the road and the council requirement is to be 6m, so in that sense we have space. But this would mean we're going to extend on the driveway, which would include the regular extension work of slab, roof, footings, bricks etc. I understand that it could be expensive for the little area we'll get out of it, but our current house meets the super important factor of location, and I'd rather live here than move. I've considered other extension plans of moving out the back, going up, but to keep it short and sweet, lets focus on the following questions- 1. Are there any obvious problems with doing this? 2. Has anyone here done something similar? 3. Approx cost?
