Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 May 12, 2020 11:21 am Hi everyone
Can you please provide some suggestions to open/improve the floorplan of my home? We're looking at renovating and trying to utilise the existing space as best as possible. The only 'must' is for open living/dining/kitchen. Thank you! Re: Floorplan suggestions 2May 12, 2020 12:00 pm laundry is too big and all toilets are too small, it could be more comfortable if you change that. and the other things depends on how many people lives in and how big the change you want to make micwallpaper.com.au Picture your wall to a view Re: Floorplan suggestions 3May 12, 2020 12:50 pm I think the laundry and toilet are in proportion, changing them would cost a lot. What are you trying to achieve by renovating - is it a cosmetic upgrade or do you have problems with how the spaces work? I think the floor plan is very functional at the moment. Re: Floorplan suggestions 4May 12, 2020 1:16 pm Thanks for the responses so far Mic Martin & Amileka! Eseentally, its a '70s house that we're looking to completely renovate - knock down walls etc type of renovate. The hope is to open the kitchen, dining and living areas, and improve functionality between these spaces. It looks quite cramped at the moment. and I was hoping for suggestions i.e incorporating the laundry into the kitchen as a butlers pantry, or opening all of this space up, as well. Just looking for some suggestions that may be different to the norm of 'knock down the wall between lounge & kitchen' !
