Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Feb 18, 2020 4:56 pm Hi all, first time post here glad to have found the community. I'm looking to enclose downstairs space currently not utilised into a games lounge that flows to the outdoor BBQ area plus a one bedroom/tea room space. My issue is the concrete floor are all in pieces and not flat. A quote from builder has been quite high to enclose the space plus add a shower to laundry ~135k in Sydney. Any advise on lower cost options to achieve what I wanted? My colleague suggested raised access floor so I don't need to dig up and relay the concrete floor. Only downside is I lose some height. The downstairs space is sloped so one side wouldn't be quite comfortable but it's only a temporary room solution for me. Don't want to over capitalise before I sell in 5 years time. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!
