Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Oct 07, 2019 10:13 pm Hi guys, we are planning on extending our current house to accomodate an attached granny flat. I wanted to know how much it would cost to put a standard 900mm door through a pre existing brick wall. The wall does not have a steel beem through it. Also how much would it cost to put a bathroom (vanity, toilet and shower) in what is currently our lounge room? Thanks a tonne guys! I suggest you will need to get a quote from a couple of builders, and there may be some engineering required too. DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair Are you doing this with a building permit? Conversion of a non habitable room into a habitable room requires building permit. 3 13390 Thank you alexp79 and gommeqld for your advice, that's very helpful, thanks 3 6288 id suggest getting an engineer to give you an opinion rather than a builder. 1 11909 |
