We are currently renovating my childhood home. My partner and I have hit so many road blocks because majority of the house is asbestos. So we can’t hang things here, we can’t renovate the bathroom which is disgusting, mouldy, and made with corregated iron on the walls. We can’t afford to have a professional come and remove it. What is more frustrating is that I’ve lived here my whole life, and my mum has exposed me to more asbestos then you could imagine. Asbestos walls have been cut into without any safety measures and corregated iron screwed into the cut outs. I was there helping and watching during all of this. She tells me a story of me being a baby and getting covered in asbestos dust accidentally while I was in a baby bouncer. I’m so unbelievably frustrated being only 22 and with a child of my own. Bit of a rant however being in this house just brings back all the frustration.
How do I go about the asbestos in the bathroom? We are stuck here for a few years at least.

Asbestos can be removed in the bathroom walls easily. However if you want to do it yourself you must observe the same Codes of Practice and safety conditions the professionals use.....I am in the industry and can't advise strongly enough about doing the right thing!!!
