Upstairs we have a “paradise room” (indoor/outdoor room with screens on two sides, metal construction) which contains a kitchenette and small bathroom. It has a beautiful view and I’d love it to be our main kitchen/dining area. Does anyone know what’s involved in converting it to a main living area? I imagine it needs lining and windows etc but do we need council approval and would the weight be suppported by what is currently there? (Metal posts with rubber feet that would generally support a deck on top of a lower roof)
